ACS Project SEED Program
Chemistry
ACS Project SEED provides high school students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds with hands-on summer research experiences alongside scientist mentors in academic and industry laboratories. Participants work on scientific projects in chemistry and related fields, participate in college-readiness and professional development activities, and present their findings.

Eligibility
Open to high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors (including graduating seniors) who have completed at least one course of high school chemistry. Family income must not exceed 300% of Federal Poverty Guidelines (or demonstrate financial eligibility through FRPL, SNAP/WIC, TRIO, or SAT/ACT fee waiver).
