The Georgia Cancer Center Summer Research Experience (SRE) is a 6-week program for high school students interested in biomedical and cancer research. Students participate in hands-on research projects alongside top cancer researchers, receive professional skill development, and benefit from individual mentoring at Augusta University.

Eligibility
Must be at least 16 years old for bench research projects. High school students under 16 may apply for bioinformatics or community-based research. Priority is given to students from Richmond, Columbia, and Aiken Counties. No prior research experience required.
