Badger Summer Scholars is a two-week immersive precollege program at the University of Wisconsin–Madison for high school students finishing grades 9–12. Participants engage in intensive academic coursework taught by university instructors, explore college majors and career pathways, and experience university life with residential or commuter options.

Eligibility
Open to students finishing grades 9–12; requires a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA or equivalent. International applicants must demonstrate English proficiency (e.g., TOEFL score of at least 80).

- $100 application fee; $4,450 (Domestic Residential), $2,600 (Commuter), $4,800 (International)

- Need-based scholarships available (up to full tuition for Wisconsin residents and up to 50% for out-of-state students; scholarship deadline is April 1, 2026)
