Carnegie Mellon University CS Scholars
Carnegie Mellon University's CS Scholars is a fully funded, four-week residential summer program for rising high school sophomores. Participants take college-level coursework in computing and mathematics, collaborate on hands-on group research projects tackling real-world problems, and attend college prep seminars. The program also features faculty mentorship, field trips to leading tech companies, and a final capstone symposium presentation.

Eligibility
Open to current 10th grade students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a green card and at least 16 years old by program start. Demonstration of financial need (tax forms or NACAC fee waiver) is required. Students underrepresented in STEM are strongly encouraged to apply.
