SMU Lyle Engineering Design Experience

The Engineering Design Experience is a 5-day residential summer camp hosted by the SMU Lyle School of Engineering for rising 11th and 12th grade students. Participants explore various engineering disciplines—including civil and environmental, computer science, electrical and computer, operations research, and mechanical engineering—through hands-on maker space projects in the Deason Innovation Gym. Campers experience college dorm life, prototype solutions to real-world challenges, and present their work to family and faculty.
