The Environmental Studies Summer Youth Institute (ESSYI) is a two-week, college-level interdisciplinary summer program hosted by Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Designed for high school students entering their junior or senior year (or recent graduates), the program explores environmental challenges through scientific, social, economic, philosophical, and political perspectives, including fieldwork in the Adirondack region and on Cayuga Lake.
