The Florida Youth Institute (FYI) is a summer program at the University of Florida that introduces 10th and 11th grade students to critical global food security issues and potential careers in science and agriculture. The program combines academic exploration with hands-on activities, and selected participants are also eligible to participate in the World Food Prize Global Youth Institute.

Students currently in the 10th & 11th grade. No minimum GPA. Open to Florida and non-Florida/international students.
