The Summer High School Internship Program (SHIP) is an eight-week, full-time paid research internship for rising high school seniors at Fred Hutch in Seattle. Designed for students without extensive prior research experience, the program begins with two weeks of laboratory training followed by six weeks of mentored research in a scientific research group, along with professional development workshops and seminars.

Eligibility
Must currently reside in the Greater Seattle area or surrounding areas and be entering senior year of high school (rising 12th grader). Must be 16 years or older by the start of the program and available for the entire eight weeks. Out-of-state and international students are not eligible.
