The Genomics Research Internship Program at Stanford (GRIPS) is an eight-week research-intensive summer program for Bay Area high school students. Interns are placed in a genetics and genomics research laboratory to conduct biomedical research under the guidance of a mentor, along with participating in cohort sessions and professional development workshops.

Eligibility
Open to high school students who reside in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, or Santa Cruz counties. Applicants must be at least 16 years old by the program start date, have an unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher, and possess prior knowledge in biology, chemistry, or computer programming.
