The Genomics Research Internship Program at Stanford (GRIPS) is a summer research internship for Bay Area high school students interested in genetics and genomics. Participants are placed in a research laboratory to work under the supervision of a lab mentor, gaining hands-on experience and professional development.

Eligibility
Open to local residents in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, or Santa Cruz counties. Must be 16 or older by the start date, have an unweighted GPA of at least 3.0, and have some prior knowledge of biology, chemistry, or computer programming.
