The Aspiring Scientists Summer Internship Program (ASSIP) provides transformative, hands-on STEM research opportunities for high school and undergraduate students. Selected participants work one-on-one with faculty researchers at George Mason University and collaborating institutions across numerous scientific disciplines, culminating in a research poster symposium and earning three college credits.

Eligibility
Must be at least 15 years old by program start (16+ for in-person wet-lab research). Open to high school and undergraduate students who have not graduated from college before or during the internship. Minors cannot be provided university housing.
