The George Washington Carver Internship Program is a semester-long research experience at Iowa State University for undergraduate students enrolled through the National Student Exchange program. Participants conduct research alongside faculty mentors across agriculture, food systems, and related disciplines while participating in professional development workshops and experiencing campus life. Scholars receive an $8,000 stipend and a travel allowance.
