High School Students Engaged in Applied Sciences, Research, and Technology is a 3-week collaborative summer program organized by UC Irvine and Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). High school participants in California and Oregon work in research labs to learn engineering and computational methods for studying embryonic heart development and congenital heart disease.
