Heithoff-Brody High School Summer Scholars Program

The Heithoff-Brody High School Summer Scholars Program at the Salk Institute is an 8-week paid summer research internship for high school students in San Diego County. Interns work side-by-side with Salk scientists on lab-based research projects, attend scientific seminars and career-building workshops, and present their findings at a concluding research symposium.

Must be a San Diego County resident attending high school in San Diego County, at least 16 years old by June 15, 2026, with a minimum 2.75 GPA and completion of one year of high school biology and chemistry.
