The Summer High School Research Internship at Houston Methodist is an 8-week translational research program for high school juniors and seniors. Students work alongside research faculty and undergraduate interns on specific laboratory projects, participate in professional development seminars, and present their findings at the MAPTA Summer Research Symposium.

Must be a high school junior or senior, at least 16 years old by the start of the program, and have a minimum 3.5 GPA. Current transcript must include fall semester grades.
