The High School Research Academy (HSRA) is a five-week, hands-on, non-residential summer research program at the University of Texas at Austin. High school students conduct authentic research in College of Natural Sciences laboratories across disciplines like biochemistry, biology, environmental science, genetics, and neuroscience, while earning UT Austin college course credit.

Eligibility
Texas residents only (cannot accept out-of-state or international applicants). Must be 15 or older by June 1, 2026, and a rising sophomore, junior, or senior (preference for rising juniors and seniors).
