Future Scientist Program
The Future Scientist Program (FSP) at the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center is an eight-week summer research internship for high school juniors in Indianapolis and Marion County public schools. Participants work on research projects under the mentorship of university researchers on the IU Indianapolis campus. The program aims to create a pipeline of next-generation scientists by providing both educational and employment experience.

Eligibility
Must be a junior in a Marion County public high school at the time of application, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate scholastic ability, maturity, and interest in scientific research. Ability to obtain a work permit if age 16 or under is required.
