The Summer Academic Research Experience (SARE) at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is an intensive summer research and academic enrichment program for high school students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Scholars conduct hands-on biomedical research under the mentorship of Johns Hopkins faculty and graduate students while receiving tutoring, college prep, and academic coaching.
