The LSU Health Sciences Center Summer Research Internship Program provides high school and undergraduate students with an 8-week research experience in basic or clinical sciences, or public health. Interns work with mentors in laboratories or clinics at the LSU Health Sciences Center, University Medical Center, or Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, gaining research, professional development, and presentation skills.
