Michigan State University offers several residential summer programs for high school students interested in engineering and computer science, including the High School Engineering Institute (HSEI), Making a Game of It (MGIT), and the Quantum Motor City Camp. Participants explore engineering majors, learn coding or quantum computing concepts, work with MSU faculty and students, and complete hands-on STEM projects.

Eligibility

Open to high school students and recent graduates (HSEI is for rising grades 10-12; MGIT is for rising grades 11-12; Quantum Motor City is for high school students; HSEI and MGIT require a 3.0+ GPA in math/science/tech core courses). Both U.S. and international students are eligible.
