
Magee-Womens Research Institute High School Summer Internship Program
The Magee-Womens Research Institute (MWRI) High School Summer Internship Program is a six-week biomedical research opportunity for high school sophomores and juniors in southwestern Pennsylvania. Interns work on their own basic, translational, or clinical research projects under faculty mentorship at MWRI or Magee-Womens Hospital. Participants also attend Lunch & Learn seminars exploring careers in biomedical science and present their findings at the High School Internship Presentation Day.

Eligibility
Must be currently in sophomore or junior year of high school (no rising sophomores or graduating seniors), at least 16 years old by the program start date, and have permanent/primary residence in southwest Pennsylvania (Greene, Fayette, Somerset, Westmoreland, Allegheny, Washington, Beaver, Lawrence, Mercer, Butler, Armstrong, Indiana, or Cambria counties).
