Summer Ventures in Science and Mathematics is a cost-free, state-funded program for academically talented North Carolina students in their second or third year of high school who are interested in STEM. The program offers hands-on research experience on a university campus during the summer, where students work in teams to solve research problems under faculty guidance.

Eligibility
Open to North Carolina students in their second or third year of high school. Applicants must not have previously participated in Summer Ventures. Students must clear residency through the Residency Determination Services (RDS).
