Summer Ventures in Science and Mathematics is a state-funded, cost-free summer research program for academically talented North Carolina high school students in their second or third year. Selected students spend four weeks living on a UNC system college campus, collaborating in small teams with university faculty on authentic STEM research projects.

Eligibility
Open to North Carolina high school students in their second or third year (grades 10 and 11) who have not previously participated. Applicants must complete the Residency Determination Service (RDS) process to establish North Carolina residency.
