NYU GSTEM is a six-week summer research program designed for high school juniors, particularly girls and other groups historically underrepresented in STEM. Participants are paired with STEM mentors across New York City institutions for an intensive 5-week research project, supplemented by field trips, lectures, and workshops culminating in a final research paper and symposium presentation.

Eligibility
Open to current high school juniors (rising seniors) only. International students who are not already in the U.S. on an F-1 student visa are not eligible.

- $5,750 tuition (optional 6-week housing with meal plan is $3,966; $50 application fee)
- Financial aid
- Need-based scholarships and fee waivers are available, as well as full-tuition scholarships such as the Winston Data Scholarship.
