The Ochsner STAR (Science, Technology, Academics and Research) Summer Scholars Program provides rising high school seniors a cost-free opportunity to explore healthcare and medical research careers. Participants conduct hands-on laboratory experiments, gain experience with medical technologies, learn from Ochsner healthcare professionals, and build leadership skills.

Eligibility
Must be a rising 12th grader (current 11th grader) and at least 16 years old by the start of the program. Open to students attending high school in Louisiana, with priority given to Louisiana residents.
