ARISE@UM is a four-week research immersive STEM experience at the University of Mississippi that connects high school students with faculty and graduate mentors. Participants engage in hands-on research in labs or in the field, attend workshops, and have the option to earn college credit.

Eligibility
Designed for students entering junior or senior year of high school or recent high school graduates enrolled at community colleges. While many labs prioritize Mississippi applicants, students nationwide and globally are encouraged to apply.
