ARISE@UM is a four-week research-immersive STEM program at the University of Mississippi for high-achieving high school juniors and seniors (and recent high school graduates entering community college). Students participate in hands-on research in labs or in the field, mentored by university faculty and graduate students, while also gaining experience with university life.

Eligibility
Designed for students entering junior or senior year of high school or recent high school graduates enrolled at community colleges. While many labs prioritize Mississippi applicants, students nationwide and globally are encouraged to apply.
