Young Scholars Invent is a 1.5-day intensive design workshop hosted by Rice University's Center for STEM Engagement (R-STEM) for 9th–11th grade students in the Greater Houston area. Participants collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to tackle real-world engineering and digital health challenges, develop prototypes, and pitch their solutions to a panel of judges.
