The Biomedical Research Academy at the University of Pennsylvania is a three-week residential summer program for high school students. The academy explores cellular, molecular, and genetic aspects of biology and disease through daily faculty lectures, journal club discussions, hands-on wet lab experiments, and computational bioinformatics labs.

Current 9th-11th grade students with a minimum 3.5 GPA. Prerequisite of one year of high school biology completed before the program begins; one year of high school chemistry is strongly advised. International students are eligible (Tourist or B-2 visa required).
