REACH (Research Experiences in Astronomy at CIERA for High School Students) is an astronomy research program hosted by Northwestern University's Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics. Students receive intensive Python programming training, learn modern astrophysics concepts, and complete mini-research projects, with an option to extend into REACH Further for a 3-week one-on-one mentored research project.

Eligibility

Open to high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors (grades 10-12) at the time of application. Students must arrange their own transportation and housing (daytime-only program). International students are eligible to apply.
