REACH (Research Experiences in Astronomy at CIERA for High School Students)
REACH (Research Experiences in Astronomy at CIERA for High School Students) is an interactive program that provides high school students with experience in astronomy research, featuring hands-on training, mentorship, and a 3-week coding-focused Core program. An optional 3-week extended research project (REACH Further) is available for Core program graduates. The program is specifically designed to engage students from groups underrepresented in STEM fields.

Eligibility
Current high school sophomores, juniors, or seniors (grades 10-12). Must arrange own transportation and housing. International students are eligible to apply but must arrange their own housing and visa.

- Cost
- $2,500 for the 3-week Core program, plus $1,500 for the REACH Further extension
- Financial aid
- Partial or full tuition waivers are available; 100% of students who request assistance receive at least a partial waiver.
