REACH (Research Experiences in Astronomy at CIERA for High School Students)
REACH (Research Experiences in Astronomy at CIERA for High School Students) is an introductory summer astronomy and Python programming research program hosted by Northwestern University's Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics. Students complete a 3-week Core program featuring coding training, astronomy lectures, and research mini-projects, with the option to apply for an additional 3-week REACH Further independent research extension with a CIERA scientist mentor.

Eligibility
Open to current high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors (grades 10-12). International students may apply, but participants must arrange their own daytime transportation and housing.

- $2,500 for Core program; +$1,500 for REACH Further extension

- Need-based full or partial tuition assistance available; 100% of students requesting aid receive at least a partial waiver
