Research Science Institute
The Research Science Institute (RSI) is an intensive six-week summer research program hosted by the Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) in collaboration with MIT. High school juniors participate in a week of STEM coursework followed by five weeks of independent, guided research in Boston-area academic and corporate laboratories, culminating in written research papers and conference-style oral presentations.

Eligibility
Open to high school juniors (with one year remaining before graduation) who are U.S. citizens/permanent residents or international students from participating countries. Must be at least 16 years of age by July 1 of the program year. High school seniors are not eligible.
