The Research Science Institute (RSI) is a highly competitive, summer-long STEM enrichment program for high-achieving high school students. Participants spend one week in intensive STEM seminars followed by five weeks of hands-on research internships at MIT or Stanford University, culminating in the preparation of written and oral scientific presentations.

Eligibility
Open to high school juniors (11th grade) with one year remaining before graduation. Must be 16 years of age by July 1 of the program year. Seniors are not eligible. U.S. and international students are eligible.
