Seattle Children's Research Training Program for High School Students

The Research Training Program (RTP) at Seattle Children's Research Institute is an in-person summer research experience for rising high school juniors and seniors. Students learn hands-on laboratory research skills in biochemistry, immunotherapy, gene editing, and infectious diseases, while completing an independent project and college/career readiness workshops.

Eligibility

Open to current 10th and 11th grade students who reside within commuting distance of Downtown Seattle. Must have a valid SSN or ITIN to receive the stipend. Prior formal research experience is not required.
