Young Scholars Invent is a 1.5-day intensive workshop hosted at Rice University for 9th through 11th grade high school students in the Greater Houston area. Working in cross-school multidisciplinary teams, participants engage in an active engineering design process to solve real-world healthcare and technology challenges provided by industry sponsors, building prototypes and presenting their solutions to a panel of judges.
