Waksman Institute Summer Experience (WISE)

The Waksman Institute Summer Experience (WISE) is a two-week summer program at Rutgers University (with an online vWISE option) that engages high school students in authentic molecular biology and bioinformatics research. Participants analyze DNA sequences of genes from the aquatic plant duckweed (Landoltia punctata) and submit vetted sequences to the NCBI GenBank international repository for publication.
