The StAR (Students at Research) program at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) is a paid six-week summer research internship for Indigenous, Black, and Filipino high school students. It provides participants with the opportunity to work on-site in a research lab, complete a project, and present their findings in a symposium.

Eligibility
Must be Indigenous, Black, or Filipino; Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident; currently in Grade 11 or 12; minimum 16 years old; and have taken Grade 10 Science.
