
SickKids Kids Science
Kids Science at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) provides interactive STEMM experiences for children and youth across Toronto and Ontario. The initiative offers year-round hands-on science workshops and monthly laboratory visits, as well as high school summer opportunities including the Student Advancement Research (StAR) internship and the Summer Mentorship Program. Students engage with world-renowned researchers and clinical staff to explore biomedical sciences, medicine, and research careers.

Serves students from Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) across Ontario. Specific summer opportunities like the StAR program require applicants to be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents who identify as Black, Filipino, or Indigenous and are at least 16 years old in Grade 11 or 12.
