The Simons Summer Research Program gives academically talented high school juniors the opportunity to engage in hands-on research in science, math, or engineering at Stony Brook University. Simons Fellows work alongside faculty mentors, gain laboratory techniques, attend research talks, and present a written abstract and poster at a concluding symposium.

Eligibility

Applicants must be high school juniors (11th grade) at the time of applying, US citizens or permanent residents, and at least 16 years old by the start of the program. School nomination is required.
