The Stanford Institutes of Medicine Summer Research Program (SIMR) is an eight-week summer program where high school juniors and seniors perform basic research with Stanford faculty and researchers on medically-oriented projects. Participants gain hands-on experience in biological sciences, medicine, and bioengineering biodesign across Stanford Medicine research facilities.

Eligibility
Applicants must be current high school juniors or seniors living in and attending high school in the U.S., and must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a green card. Selection heavily favors local Bay Area/Northern California students.
