The Pediatrics Internship Program at Stanford (PIPS) is a 7-week introductory summer research internship for high school rising juniors and seniors living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Participants work on a research project under faculty mentorship in maternal and child health, participate in career and college preparation workshops, and connect with near-peer mentors.

Eligibility

Must be a rising junior or senior in high school, at least 16 years old by the start of the program, and have a cumulative unweighted GPA of at least 3.0. Must reside and attend high school in San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Marin, Alameda, Contra Costa, or Santa Cruz county.
