The Healthcare Experience and Research in Oncology (HERO) program is a virtual two-week summer opportunity for Wisconsin high school students. It aims to foster interest in oncology careers and cancer research through synchronous lab work, faculty guest speakers, career panels, and group case study projects.

Eligibility
Full-time Wisconsin high school student (current freshman, sophomore or junior). Past SHE participants are not eligible. Priority to students from rural school districts eligible for NIH rural health grants.
