Ted R. Lilley Continuing Umbrella of Research Education (CURE) Program
The Ted R. Lilley Continuing Umbrella of Research Education (CURE) Program is a summer research internship at the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute for Portland-area high school students from socially or economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Interns work in a lab with a faculty member, attend weekly seminars, and participate in a final poster presentation to gain experience in biomedical research.

Eligibility
Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior from an Oregon high school (preference for Portland Metro public schools); from a disadvantaged background (NIH definition); 3.0 GPA or higher; must have taken at least one lab science class. Must be 16 or older by June. Proof of COVID-19 vaccination required.
