The UCSC Scholar Immersion Program (SIP), formerly the Science Internship Program, is an 8-week summer research immersion experience hosted by the University of California, Santa Cruz. High school students work directly with UCSC faculty, postdocs, and graduate students on authentic, open-ended research projects spanning a wide range of STEM disciplines.

Eligibility
Applicants must be 14–17 years of age during the program (some projects require age 16+). Students who will have graduated high school prior to the summer are generally ineligible.
