The High School Student Research Apprentice Program (HSSRAP) is a five-week summer program for 11th-grade students interested in medicine, dental medicine, or biomedical research. It provides hands-on research experience in clinical or basic science laboratories at UConn Health or Central Connecticut State University.

Eligibility
Must be a Connecticut resident and attend a CT high school; must be first-generation college, low income, and educationally under-resourced; must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Priority given to HCOP pipeline participants. Must have completed junior year and have a 'B' average or better.
