High School Student Research Apprentice Program
The High School Student Research Apprentice Program (HSSRAP) is a five-week commuter summer research opportunity for rising high school seniors interested in medicine, dental medicine, or biomedical research. Participants conduct research in basic science or clinical laboratories at UConn Health or Central Connecticut State University while earning a stipend.

Eligibility
Must be a Connecticut resident attending a Connecticut high school, a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, have completed junior year with a 'B' average or better, and be at least 16 years old by the start of the program. Priority is given to first-generation college, low-income, and educationally under-resourced students.
