High School Student Research Apprentice Program

The High School Student Research Apprentice Program (HSSRAP) at UConn Health is a five-week summer program for rising high school seniors interested in medicine, dental medicine, or biomedical research. Participants commute daily to conduct research in basic science or clinical laboratories at UConn Health or Central Connecticut State University and receive a stipend.

Eligibility

Must be a Connecticut resident attending a Connecticut high school, completed 11th grade with a 'B' average or better, at least 16 years old by the start of the program, and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
