UCSF High School Intern Program (HIP)

The UCSF Science & Health Education Partnership (SEP) High School Intern Program (HIP) is an 8-week paid summer research experience for rising high school seniors. Interns conduct original biomedical research under the mentorship of UCSF scientists, participate in college counseling, and develop science communication skills. The program specifically recruits and supports low-income and first-generation college-bound students.
