The Young Scholars Program (YSP) is a paid five-week summer research internship for high school students interested in agricultural, food, and environmental sciences. Students work alongside faculty mentors at the UGA Athens, Griffin, or Tifton campuses and participate in a concluding research conference.

Eligibility
Must have completed sophomore year, be a first-time participant, and be 16 years old by the start date. Must have completed one high school science course (with lab) and one semester of algebra.
