Students and Teachers As Research Scientists (STARS) is a summer research program pairing rising high school juniors and seniors and science teachers with practicing research mentors. Participants conduct independent research projects across scientific and engineering disciplines at leading academic, private, and governmental research institutions in the St. Louis area, presenting their technical reports and results at the conclusion of the program.
