Accelerate Cancer Education (ACE) High School Summer Research Program

The Accelerate Cancer Education (ACE) program is a 6-week paid summer research experience at The University of Kansas Cancer Center for high school students interested in biomedical careers. Participants are paired with faculty mentors to conduct hands-on cancer research projects in laboratory, clinical, or office settings. The program concludes with a poster forum where students present their research findings.

Eligibility

Must be currently a junior or senior at a high school in Wyandotte County, KS or Jackson County, MO, have a 3.0 GPA or greater, be at least 16 years of age at the start of the program, have guardian permission, and be legally eligible to work in the US.
