Terp Young Scholars is a three-week pre-college summer program hosted by the University of Maryland for rising high school sophomores through graduating seniors. Offered both on campus and online, students enroll in one three-credit university course across subjects including computing, environmental science, architecture, and medicine, experiencing college academics and earning UMD transcript credit.

Eligibility

Open to rising high school sophomores to graduating seniors (rising grade 10 to graduating grade 12). In-person campus participants must reside within commuting distance of the University of Maryland as no housing is provided.
