LHI-AHA Summer Research Scholars Program

The LHI-AHA Summer Research Scholars Program, hosted by the Lillehei Heart Institute at the University of Minnesota Medical School with grant support from the American Heart Association, provides high school and undergraduate students with intensive laboratory research experience in cardiovascular disease. Scholars work alongside faculty mentors in basic or clinical research labs and participate in weekly seminars, field trips, and hands-on experiences exploring cardiovascular medicine.
