Minnesota Youth Institute (MNYI)

The Minnesota Youth Institute (MNYI) is a program for high school students in Minnesota to research global food and agriculture issues, write a research paper, and present their findings to experts. Participants engage in round table discussions, hands-on activities, and facility tours at the University of Minnesota’s College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS). The program recognizes participants as Borlaug Scholars and provides opportunities for scholarships and further engagement with global youth programs.
