Changemakers in Computing (CiC) is a free four-week summer program hosted by the University of Washington's Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering. Designed for Washington State high school students—especially economically disadvantaged and future first-generation college students—the program teaches introductory coding, explores technology ethics and social justice, and provides mentorship from UW undergraduates.

Eligibility

Must be a Washington State resident currently enrolled in 10th or 11th grade (rising junior or senior). Program aims to support economically disadvantaged and/or future first-generation college students. No prior coding experience required; participants must commute to the UW Seattle campus.
