STARS Summer Research Program

The STARS Summer Research Program at UT Southwestern Medical Center is an 8-week, non-residential biomedical research experience for high school juniors and science teachers in North Texas. Participants work side by side with faculty hosts in modern biomedical laboratories, earn a stipend, and present their research findings at the end of the summer.

Eligibility
Open to high school juniors in North Texas who are at least 16 years old by June 1 and eligible to work in the U.S. Applicants must have no prior biomedical or biomedical-related research experience.
