The Rio Grande Valley Summer Science Internship (RGVSSI) is a 6-week research program designed for high school juniors and seniors in the Rio Grande Valley. Participants are matched with a mentor to work on a science project, gaining exposure to university-level research. The program culminates in a formal presentation of the student's work to faculty and the community.
