The UW-Green Bay Freshwater Scholars Program is a summer research opportunity for high school students to conduct water science and water quality research alongside a university mentor. Participants complete 120 hours of hands-on lab and field work, take part in field trips, and have the opportunity to present their findings at the annual Lakeshore Water Summit.

Eligibility

Open to high school students (grades 9-12, including graduating seniors). Graduating seniors enrolling in a Universities of Wisconsin institution are given priority. Students age 15 or younger must obtain a work permit.
